Shipping Rates

While checking out you will be presented with our best shipping rate, based on the size and weight of the items in your cart and your shipping destination.

How long does shipping take?

Once your order is placed, it may take 1–2 days to process and hand-off your order to one of our shipping partners. Once we hand-off an order, we will send you a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number (tracking begins when a shipping partner scans an item, this can take up to 24 hours after we hand it off.) We encourage you to use your tracking number to follow orders once your order has shipped.

The estimated delivery date we show at checkout on our website is based on our shipping partner’s expected delivery to your shipping address. If your order must be split into multiple shipments, expect delivery to take a few extra business days.

Where are my items shipped from?

Your items are shipped from the nearest Princess Auto store that has stock. If your nearest store does not have the stock available your order will ship from another nearby store. If your order cannot be fulfilled by a single store, we will split it up into multiple shipments. We do our best to try to ship your order in one complete shipment.

Who will deliver my order?

We partner with Canada Post, Purolator, and FedEx to deliver orders within Canada. Canada Post can deliver items up to 66 pounds, anything greater than that will be delivered by either Purolator or FedEx.

Why does my order have to ship via LTL Freight?

Some items are too large/heavy to deliver via our parcel carriers. In this case when you check out, an LTL Freight Quote estimate is generated based on the items and the delivery address. This is just an estimate provided at the point of checkout. Should the actual quote be greater or less, we may contact you with the actual LTL shipping cost to confirm that you would like to proceed with your order. If you are not contacted your order will be processed as it was originally placed.

We understand that shopping inside our Store doesn’t always meet your schedule, and waiting for home delivery isn’t always an option. Now you can Order Online and Pickup at the Store!

How do I make a return?

We are able to provide hassle-free returns and exchanges when you make an authenticated purchase online, through the National Call Centre, and when you provide your Name and Phone number at the time of purchase in-store.

Any purchase you make in-store or online will be tied to your account; this being the name, mailing information, phone number and email address you have provided to us. If you are making a return or exchange, and have misplaced your receipt, all we need to do is look up your information and the appropriate purchase in order to process the return or exchange.

We honour our ROYAL SERVICE Promise and accept returns at any of our store locations.

I received the wrong product / my product arrived damaged. What do I do?
