This Privacy Policy outlines the manner in which we collect, use, retain, disclose, protect, and manage your Personal Information.

Princess Auto sometimes collects data with this information removed. As the individual can no longer be identified in this scenario, this data is not considered Personal Information.
Personal Information does not include business contact information such as an employee’s name, title, business address, business telephone number, or business email in relation to that individual’s employment or business.
This policy applies to all Personal Information that Princess Auto collects and uses. Personal Information that is collected falls into three main categories and a sub-category:

Specific types of data may automatically be collected in real-time when you access Princess Auto websites, contact Princess Auto, or visit and shop at a Princess Auto store. This information may include:
AV and image data, as Princess Auto uses closed circuit television and digital recorders in stores to keep the facilities operating in a safe and secure manner.
Device and Internet data, including your device hardware number, your IP address, device identifiers, traffic data, and your activity. Please see the Cookies and Pixels information below for more.
Website usage data, including activity on our websites and with our e-mails using cookies, tracking pixels and other tracking technologies. Product categories and your interests may be captured. Refer to the Cookies and Pixels section for more information.
Location data if shared with us or shared by your mobile device’s settings.
Other sources may share Personal Information about you in scenarios that include but are not limited to:
Our delivery partners who may provide us with current delivery and address information, which would update our corresponding records of your personal information.

Analytics companies, marketing and advertising service providers and fraud prevention service providers may also confirm or update our behavioural and basic identifying information about you.
Princess Auto may use inferences to create a limited customer profile about you using the information collected or received as described above. This profile may be used to personalize your experience, protect your privacy and maintain your preferences in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
Princess Auto may use your Personal Information in the following ways:
To provide, administer, deliver, customize, support and improve the products, services, or information that you have requested from us and that we offer to you.
To ensure quality assurance and enhance training at the National Call Centre.
To meet legal and retail-related duties and commitments.
To run and oversee promotions, contests, surveys and events.
To respond to your inquiries, comments, and requests for service.
To manage online accounts, as well as purchases, payments, returns and special offers (both online and in-person).
To ensure delivery of products and services, fulfill your orders and transactions, and manage returns and exchanges.
To verify your identity as needed to provide you products, services and/or access to our systems.
To better understand your interests or preferences, so that we may recommend particular products, offers or services that are consistent with these interests and preferences.

Princess Auto may aggregate, anonymize or de-identify data from its customers’ Personal Information for internal business purposes where permitted by law, in order for Princess Auto:
To gauge internal analytics, develop innovative services, analyze its offerings, and measure the performance of Princess Auto websites and applications
To customize your in-store and online experiences.
To customize your interest-based marketing experience in Princess Auto spaces.
To refine and improve our marketing efforts.
To comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements with respect to law enforcement requests, statutory obligations and/or mandates in the event of a corporate acquisition, merger, or other corporate transaction.
Princess Auto may disclose your Personal Information within our company and to third party vendors, suppliers, and agents (collectively, “Service Providers”) that require the relevant Personal Information to perform your requested services or our necessary services on our behalf.
Princess Auto may share your Personal Information in the following circumstances.

Princess Auto limits the information shared with Service Providers to only what is necessary for them to provide the service(s). Any other use of the Personal Information is strictly prohibited. Service Providers may sometimes de-identify and use your disclosed Personal Information in combination with other information to improve their internal services.
When your Personal Information is shared with a Service Provider, we compel them to protect the information in a manner that is consistent with this Policy.
Your Personal Information may be stored and processed by our service providers in Canada or other countries where Service Providers maintain facilities, including the United States of America, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, and Japan. As such, your Personal Information may be subject to the laws of those countries. However, Service Providers may not use or disclose Personal Information for any purpose other than providing the services on our behalf or as otherwise required by applicable law.
Your Personal Information may also be disclosed as part of a corporate transaction involving the transfer of some or all Princess Auto business assets.
Your Personal Information may be disclosed if required by law or valid court order, provided:
the disclosure is necessary to enforce our agreements or policies, and/or
the disclosure protects the rights, property, or safety of Princess Auto and its relevant stakeholders.
Your Personal Information may be disclosed if you provide direct consent to do same.
Princess Auto does not sell any of your information to third parties.
For greater clarity, the Privacy Policy and these terms of disclosure apply in full to residents of Quebec. Personal Information that Princess Auto collects will be communicated outside of Quebec and may be disclosed to Service Providers within and outside of Canada.
When you provide Princess Auto with Personal Information, you understand and agree to our collection, use, storage, management and disclosure of your Personal Information under the terms of the Privacy Policy. At times, Princess Auto may obtain implied consent. For example: when a user enters one of our online contests by completing an entry form and provides their information to be contacted in case they win, participants consent to our use of their Personal Information to administer the contest and contact them if they win.
Non-sensitive Personal Information such as your basic contact information or name may be used to send you information about our business, our products, and upcoming events until you advise us that you no longer wish to receive such information.

Review and update your Personal Information via your online account.
Stop receiving marketing communications, including emails and newsletters. All direct digital marketing communications from Princess Auto provide an unsubscribe link in the footer of the communication. This setting can also be updated in your online account. If you unsubscribe from marketing content, you may still receive operational communications from Princess Auto.
